Hey girl, I’m Cassandra!
I have been a personal trainer for over 6 years. After working at different gyms I realized the fitness industry preys on women’s insecurities and lack of self-confidence.
My goal is to cultivate a safe space for women to harness their physical strength through weight training!
Fresh out of high school I had no idea what I wanted to do. I took a year off and during that year I found my passion for fitness. I went to Sheridan College and completed their Fitness Leadership program with honours. From there I ventured into the field of fitness and worked at a variety of gyms. I ended up at the University of Toronto Mississauga, as a strength coach for their varsity sports teams. This is where I refined my skills and developed my coaching style.
As soon as I graduated from College I started my journey of personal training! I am extremely lucky to have experienced working with all different kinds of individuals. From people of all ages to competitive athletes. I now find myself passionate about coaching and teaching women just how empowering strength training really is. Just like a cute outfit I want to help you feel cute and confident in your own skin!
Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to teach and guide women to become stronger, more confident and more capable.

I always thought that doing cardio or HIIT-style workouts would help to achieve my fitness goals. Now, fitness means more than staying and looking lean. What you can expect from Bourn Babes
All of my Bourn Babes are coached online! Fitness should be accessible, and enjoyable while (pushing you and supporting you to reach your goals) creating a challenge! Online coaching allows my clients to have the freedom to create a schedule that works for them while developing sustainable health habits. You get the results you want NOW and the tools to keep it up long-term.

How does online coaching work?
Step 1) Free Consultation💻
This is my opportunity to get to know you so I’ll be asking you a few questions: What are your goals? What are your training and health history? How can I make your fitness journey enjoyable and realistic for you?
This is also our chance to see if we get along and if I am the right person to help you reach your goals.
Step 2) Program development💪🏼
After our consult, the fun begins – creating a program specifically for YOU! Once your program is complete we will hop on another little chat to go over it, make sure you understand what is written and ask any questions you may have.
Programs change weekly or monthly depending on your goals, progress and what works/does not work for you.
Step 3) Regular Checkins👍🏼
This is where all the magic happens! Our weekly 20-30 minute check-ins are where we problem-solve exercises, share exciting moments such as hitting a PR or for me to share a new exercise that will be incorporated into your new program!
Have a question or need a little extra motivation outside of our call? You also get messaging support Monday to Friday so you’re never left in the dark.

The beauty of online coaching is the flexibility that it provides! Instead of adhering to a trainer’s availability YOU have the opportunity to create your optimal and desired schedule. Do you find exercising in the morning is your cup of tea? Or right after work is best for you? No problem! I help to create your realistic training plan but when you go to the gym is all on your time.
The one downside is you don’t get the same accountability you would get working with a personal trainer. This is why we will have 1 check-in call a week to ensure you are on track or to even adjust the program. You also get messaging support during the work week for extra support.
2 very important building blocks I take pride in while coaching my clients are Mobility and Stability.
Developing your mobility will not only allow you to gain more range in your exercises. It will also create more ease and comfort during your day-to-day life!
This is key in ensuring your joints are strengthened and able to endure your training. In the long run, this will decrease the risk of injury.

I have been training under Cassandra Carlucci’s guidance since April 2022. I was motivated to improve my physical activity and strength after nearly 2 years of living in a pandemic setting: working from home, increased stress, and living with uncertainty. I was not happy with the way I was thinking and feeling in my own body.
I first participated in Cassandra’s “Let’s feel 22 in 2022” challenge, where I completed her structured group training. It felt so refreshing and empowering to be back in the gym, working on both strength and mental clarity, and setting persistent habits to take care of my body. I then signed up for 1:1 online training sessions, where Cassandra builds a customized training program based on my goals and meets with me once per week to discuss challenges, fears, forms, and progress.
I am so proud of what I have accomplished with Cassandra’s help: I feel confident in the gym, I know how to properly use the machines and weights, I can lift more than I ever have been able to in my entire life, and I know what feels safe and right for my body (including proper form). Cassandra is an experienced trainer who works from a paradigm of empowerment. Her training programs have the right amount of challenge and burn! I will continue working with Cassandra to keep building strength across the life course.

My fitness journey has been a windy road. Growing up as a dancer and an athlete, fitness was always a part of my life. When I went to university, fitness was no longer one of my priorities, and when the pandemic hit, it took a toll on my body physically and emotionally. I started to become incredibly insecure about what my body looked like, wishing I could look like I did back in high school, and got to the point where I had accepted that there was nothing I could do to change it. When I insisted I got a gym membership as something to try during the pandemic, I started to use some of the cardio machines and fell in love with Zumba classes. Aside from the stationary bike and treadmill, I had no idea what I was doing. I felt intimidated by the equipment that I had no idea how to use and felt socially anxious in the presence of other people at the gym.
Before training with Cassandra, I was on an intense program. It reached the point where I felt immense guilt for missing a day at the gym and overworking my body, which was unsustainable for my lifestyle. Meals became incredibly stressful, and I lost the reason why I started working out, which was to benefit my mental health.
Cassandra has completely changed my outlook on fitness and has given me the tools and support to feel confident as a strong woman in the gym. She has taught me the value of listening to my body while encouraging me to push myself to the next level. Through weekly check-ins and feedback on videos that I send, Cassandra has given me such educational feedback, exercises and demonstrations. Fitness has now become a critical and enjoyable aspect of my life. Over these past few months of training, not once have I felt the need to step on a scale to see or justify results. Cassandra’s priority of listening to how my body feels versus how it looks is exactly what I need to feel my best self. I am beyond grateful to have Cassandra as a coach, she’s the best and I couldn’t have done this without her!
